Rev. Joel Joseph

Rev. Joel Joseph is an ordained minister of Christian Evangelistic Assemblies, Dehradun. He served as a Pastor for 5 years in a church that comprises of the people from other faiths in Jammunkatha, Dehradun, India. He along with his Doctoral studies at United Theological College, Bangalore is involved with the churches and serves as a Pastor, for past 3 years.

 Prior to his receiving a scholarship by the Mission Academy of the University of Hamburg, Germany to pursue his exposure program for 6 months, Rev. Joel Joseph served as a Senior Lecturer at the New Theological College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India for seven years. He also served as the Coordinator of IGNOU studies in the same college. His major areas of specialization and interest in Lectureship at the New Theological College, includes Pentateuch, Psalms, Pastoral Epistles, Sociology and Prophetical books.

In his educational carrier, Rev. Joel holds Master of Theology in Biblical Studies from Serampore University and Master of Sociology from Indira Gandhi Open University.  He is doing his dissertation on Economic, Political, Social and Religious Reasons for the Rebuilding of the Second Temple during the Persian Period: A Sociological and Postcolonial Reading.

Rev. Joel is happily married to Ruby Joseph, who is working as a teacher and both are blessed with two children – a daughter, Jennifer Grace Joseph who is 9 years and a son, Joshua Joseph, who is 7 years.
