Margaret Makafui Tayviah

Margaret Makafui Tayviah Margaret Makafui Tayviah is a PhD student of the Department of Religious Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) in Kumasi but currently in Hamburg under a short scholarship by the Academy of Missions at the University of Hamburg.

She is a Methodist and Her area of specialization is Christian-Muslim relations and the History of Religions. She serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Religious Studies, KNUST, Kumasi where she teaches Introduction to Islam, Islam and Ecumenism, History of Christian Muslim Relations, Comparative Study of Religions and Islam in Ghana.  She is a Member of the following: Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA), West African Association of Theological Institutions (WAATI) and Global Ecumenical Theological Institute (GETI).  Her PhD dissertation is “An Assessment of the Colonial policies on Christian-Muslim Relations in Ghana and Togo”.
