Mary Chang

Hello, my name is Mary Chang from Nagaland, India. I hail from the remotest part of our state but thankful to God for paving the way and also extremely grateful to Missionsakademie for the privileged given to be a part of this prestigious Akademie to learn and enhance my research.

Presently I am in the 2nd year of my doctorate in Theology (D.Th) under the North India Institute of Post Graduate Theological Studies (NIIPGTS), Serampore College/University. The title of my research is “The Significance of Puṣhpâñjali in Hindu Religious Tradition: Its Appendage towards the Eco-philosophy”. The educational institutions I attended for my studies are; Bachelor of Theology: Trinity Theological College, Dimapur, Nagaland. (July 2000 – March 2004); Bachelor of Divinity: Bishop’s College, Kolkata. (July 2010 – March 2012); Master of Theology: NIIPGTS, Bishop’s College Kolkata (July 2012 – March 2014).

Regarding my work experience, I served 8 years in the pastoral ministry with women and youth group in the Chang Baptist Church Kohima, Nagaland alongside my involvement with various women and Theological organizations. Even in the future I look forward to serving God and God’s people in any way possible.
