Niza Joy Santiago

I am Niza Joy Santiago, an ordained pastor of the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches (CPBC). I am a licensed Special Education teacher and pastor.

I finished my Bachelor in Elementary Education with specialization in Special Education (Cum Laude) and Master in Divinity at Central Philippine University. My pastoral work in some of the churches under the CPBC, participations in inter-cultural, inter-denominational and inter-faith trainings and gatherings and my Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training at the Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, USA led me to realize my passion in women studies.

I have worked as a teacher for the Department of Theology of Filamer Christian University, Roxas City. I have also mentored CPE students at Capiz Emmanuel Hospital in Roxas City last November 2018. I am excited to be a part of the Missionsakademie family, learn and grow and better serve and minister to my people and the wider community.

I am about to start my German language course in ÖSW. I am interested in doing a research that would highlight the role and contribution of the Philippine Baptist Women to the establishment and growth of the Philippine Baptist Church and missions.
